How It Works

EveryBody@Work is simple to roll out. Choose & adopt supports from our policy recommendations, share education materials, and appoint an @WorkChampion to make supports easy to access. We can guide you, or you can self‑serve with our templates and checklists.

“[Endometriosis is] like having your organs wrapped and barbed wire then squeezed…we need to bring that human element and understanding to the forefront …all staff need support with something [and] when we care about each other, the workplace benefits.”

Compliance and Reassurance

Aligns with Disability Discrimination, Fair Work and WHS obligations

  • Australian workplaces must make reasonable adjustments for employees with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DD Act).

  • Case law: A 2018 Federal Court decision confirmed that endometriosis and severe dysmenorrhoea can constitute a disability under the DD Act. This means workers with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain are entitled to adjustments and protected from discrimination at work
