Support that fits your life at work
For Employees
If you live with endometriosis or chronic pelvic pain, you deserve fair support and a safe, productive workday. EveryBody@Work gives you clear options, simple templates and a trained @WorkChampion to help you find what works for you.
You are not alone
Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis can involve severe to disabling pain and fatigue. Symptoms can be invisible, non‑cyclical and may flare without warning. It can be hard to talk about health at work. You should never have to choose between your job and your health. We are here to make conversations easier and supports simpler.
You are entitled to support, free from discrimination
Australian workplaces must make reasonable adjustments for employees with endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DD Act).
Case law: A 2018 Federal Court decision confirmed that endometriosis and severe dysmenorrhoea can constitute a disability under the DD Act. This means workers with chronic pelvic pain are entitled to adjustments and protected from discrimination at work.
Respectful conversations: All discussions about your health should be respectful and free from discrimination.

“[Endometriosis is] like having your organs wrapped and barbed wire then squeezed…we need to bring that human element and understanding to the forefront …all staff need support with something [and] when we care about each other, the workplace benefits.”
